The threat of physical damage to valuable equipment and records, or data theft by criminals or discontented employees, rises daily. Restricting personnel, contractors' or visitors' access to buildings or areas is becoming ever more important.
We have vast experience in the area of access control and can recommend a suitable system from the many we regularly install. Whether it is to stop unwanted intruders passing the reception area unnoticed or restricting access to certain areas within a building, we have the product to suit your circumstances. Our systems can be push button, keypad coded, swipe card or operated using an electronic fob and scaled from single installations to major building systems.

Audio Entry Systems
These systems are audio intercom systems with a speaker and microphone built in to a special panel which is usually located externally, adjacent to the entrance door. The entrance panel will usually include a "call" button which visitors will use to call the respective tenants or office areas directly over the audio entry system.
When a visitor arrives at the entry panel, they must push the call button corresponding to the tenant that they wish to see (assuming a multi office area site). This will cause the respective telephone handset to emit an audible 'call' tone. The recipient of the call can lift the handset to talk to the visitor and remotely release the entrance door (if desired) by the operation of a remote door release push button, built in to the intercom handset.
The controlled door would usually be fitted with an electrically operated locking device and automatic door closing device so that, when the visitor has entered the premises, the entrance door will automatically close and lock behind them.
Video Entry Systems
These systems are basically the same as the audio intercom systems as described above, but they include video images. There is a camera built in to the entry panel and the tenants' units will incorporate small monitors and handsets.
This means that the central power supply equipment for the system is somewhat more sophisticated, to cater for the powering of the video camera and monitors. Also consideration has to be given to the distribution of the video signal for the numerous monitors on the system.
Telephone & IP Network Intercom Systems There are some audio entry systems on the market which use public telephone network or a Computer LAN WAN IP based network for providing entry facilities. These systems eliminate the need for the mass of wiring that is usually associated with conventional telephone entry systems.
Card Entry Systems
Card Entry Systems are an ideal way of controlling access in and around your building. Systems range from standalone to multiple readers controlled by a PC. Cards can be programmed to only allow access into authorised areas.
Coded Entry Keypads
Coded Entry Keypads are a cost effective method of allowing access through a single door. Codes can be periodically changed to enhance your security.
