| Periodic Inspection and Testing |

All electrical installations need to be periodically inspected and tested from time to time, to ensure that electrical safety is maintained. Domestic installations require inspecting and testing either every 10 years or on change of ownership. Commercial installations, however, require inspecting and testing more regularly i.e. some annually, some every three years and some every five years, depending on the use of the premises. All inspections and tests are carried out by fully qualified engineers. The extent of the inspection is normally discussed and determined beforehand and a comprehensive report is produced on completion of the inspection, detailing any faults found and their degree of urgency to be remedied.
